How to Be a Ninja Basics

So you want to learn how to be a ninja. Ok, first a quick question... What does ninjitsu mean?

To be a true ninja you must first know some of the basic theory. Nin has two meanings in Japanese. The first is endurance, perseverance and forebearance in both the physical and mental realms. The second dictionary definition of nin is stealth, secrecy and concealment. Jitsu simply means techniques.

I've also seen ninjitsu translated as the 'art of stealth' so you get the idea.

The fighting system is relaxed and techniques cover locks, throws, groundfighting, multiple attacks and traditional ninjitsu weaponry. In fact many people are adapting it to include modern weaponry too so as we're not too out of date if we're put in a real life situation.

The big daddy of ninjitsu today is Dr Masaki Hatsumi and i managed to track a video of the master at work. So for the next five minutes you can learn how to be a ninja from the master himself.

Enjoy!

p.s. How simple but effective is that throwing cards trick!
